Skeletal remains were found in Los Angeles wetlands on Friday.
During a search of the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve authorities recovered human remains which they believe may belong to a missing 32-year-old woman.
Kolby Story was reported missing in December after last being seen in LA’s Mar Vista neighborhood.
Following months of futile searching, a resident discovered some of Story’s belongings near the Ballona wetlands and creek area, prompting the search.
The coroner's office has not yet determined if the remains belong to Story.
