Discussing the cost of electric water heaters and gas water heaters

The Bay Area Quality Management District is considering a pause on its planned phase-out of broken gas and water heaters. The original plan which was intended to fight pollution by switching homes over to electric heaters is being disrupted due to concerns over cost and how it could potentially affect low-income households.
