Las Vegas, NV (KDWN) – The operators of the Cowabunga Bay water park in Henderson announced Monday that the park will be permanently closing after 12 years in operation.
Park ownership stated that they’re consolidating operations to focus exclusively on their sister park in Summerlin, Cowabunga Canyon. Reports also pointed to ongoing seasonal business pressures, security challenges, and staffing difficulties.
People who have purchased a 2027 season pass for Cowabunga Bay can use their passes at Cowabunga Canyon. Visitors who would rather get a refund can submit requests for that through the official Cowabunga Vegas closures page.
