The Clark County Department of Aviation said that a reduction in airline capacity—largely driven by Spirit Airlines discontinuing all operations at the airport back in May—continued to negatively impact passenger volume.
Domestic travel slumped 10.2% to roughly 3.8 million passengers, while international travel bucked the trend, growing 3.9% year-over-year to just under 300,000 passengers.
For the first eight months of 2026, overall passenger traffic reached 34.4 million, 7.2% lower than the same period in 2025.
Southwest Airlines continues to be the dominant carrier at Reid, followed by Frontier, Delta, United and American.
