HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement Officers issued 11 warnings to Pittsburgh area businesses not abiding by COVID-19 mitigation efforts on Wednesday and Thursday, the most in the commonwealth.
Police say officers visted 1,804 liquor establishments on July 22 and 23 (496 in the Pittsburgh area) and issued 42 total warnings across the state.
Some of the mitigations efforts bars and restaurants must follow include:

- Provide at least six feet between parties at tables or physical barriers between customers where booths are arranged back to back.
- Ensure maximum occupancy limits for indoor and outdoor areas are posted and enforced.
