PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - 150 cats, chickens and other animals have been rescued from two locations in Washington and Westmoreland Counties.
Officials with the Humane Society and Animal Rescue league in Donora and Monessen found mostly cats and chickens with some dogs and other animals neglected.
About 100 animals were removed from a home in Monessen and at a home and church next door in Donora.
Animals Rescue League says that the conditions of the animals are not known but many will need immediate medical attention.
