Coronavirus testing at PA's State Lab

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Cases of coronavirus in Western PA continues to rise.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health released numbers on Monday that shows 1,366 additional cases of coronavirus in the commonwealth for a total of 24,199 in all 67 counties.


 A total of 524 have died across the commonwealth.

Locally, there are now:

876 cases with 21 deaths in Allegheny153 with 13 deaths in Beaver143 with four deaths in Butler69 with zero deaths in Washington228 with six deaths in Westmoreland28 with one death in Armstrong51 with four deaths in Lawrence43 with zero deaths in Mercer43 with zero deaths in Indiana23 with zero deaths in Greene 57 with three death in Fayette13 with zero deaths in Somerset 14 with one death in Cambria 

That is a total of 1,741 cases and 52 dead in the area.

Governor Tom Wolf has put the entire state under a Stay-at-Home order, until at least April 30.

All non-life essential businesses remain closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
