SOUTH UNION TWP. (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Two children were found dead after a house fire in South Union Township Tuesday Morning.
The Fayette County Coroner identified the victims as 7-year-old Ryleigh Weasenforth and her 5-year-old brother Gunner.
Fayette Co. dispatchers say the fire was reported around 5:15 a.m. at a house on South Mt. Vernon Ave. near Station St.
Firefighters arrived to find the structure was fully involved. One was treated for a burned hand.
Investigators believe the fire started near the children's room but have not yet determined its cause.
