2PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police announced Thursday afternoon that three additional police personnel have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the bureau's number to four.
The personnel are a Police Academy instructor, an officer in the administrative branch and a police recruit.
All three are at home in self-isolation.
Officials say they are notifying anyone who may have contact with the three individuals and placing them in self quarantine.
Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Police announced on of their Police Academy instructors tested positive for COVID-19.
In addition to the coronavirus cases in the police department, Pittsburgh Public Safety says that two Environmental Service employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
Others who may have been in contact with the employees are in self-quarantine
