
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - In Allegheny County’s daily update of the Coronavirus Wednesday, the number of confirmed cases grew by 38, 27 more than Tuesday.
One less death is being reported, compared to Tuesday.
The total number of cases in the county is now at 1,273. Of those, 1,229 are confirmed and 44 are probable cases.
A total of 86 people have now died as a result of COVID-19 in Allegheny County, that is one less than yesterday after data was found to have been incorrectly put into the reporting system.
Of those deaths, 76 are confirmed (had a positive test) with 10 probable. A probable death is one where COVID-19 is on the death certificate but never has a positive test for coronavirus.
The age of those who have died range from 42-103 and 85 being the median age.

There are also six additional hospitalizations in the county with the total number of those treated, past or present, remaining at 228
