HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The number of COVID-19 cases in Western Pennsylvania stands at 10 confirmed cases and three presumptive cases.
The total number of cases in PA stands at 96 as of midnight.
Locally there are seven confirmed cases and three presumptive cases in Allegheny along with two confirmed in Washington County and one in Beaver County.
Any new cases will now be released the next day.
As of Tuesday, 879 total people have been tested negative with 96 positive.
In Allegheny County, the new confirmed case is a person in their 60s and is currently hospitalized.
The three presumptive cases are young adults, over 18 who are all quarantined in their home.
Two acquired through the virus through international travel and one through domestic travel.
They are presumed because testing was done by a lab that just started testing and confirmation is required.
"That label will be dropped as soon as the lab meets necessary requirements."
During a news conference on Tuesday, PA Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine said that there is currently no strain on hospitals or health systems but she adds it won't be surprising if that happens in the next week or two.
Levine says they are working with hospitals to prepare.
