PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020) - We can expect some uncomfortable weather throughout the weekend and in to next week.
“Unfortunately, this is a sign of what’s ahead here over the next several days, right through the wTeekend. Even in to the earlier part of next week, we’ll have these rounds of chilly temperatures, especially each morning,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Bill Degar tells the KDKA Radio Morning Show.
Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s on Friday with an overnight low in the high 20s.
He believes the Pittsburgh region will return to a more normal temperature structure in a week to ten days from now.
“There’s even signs we may flip the switch and even go above average for the second half of May,” Degar explains.
While it will be cold in Pittsburgh the next couple of days, the area is expected to miss the potential of significant snowfall that is headed toward parts of the Northeast and New England this weekend.
