PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The weather does not look promising for Halloween 2019.
Forecasters are predicting precipitation all day and through the night.
AccuWeather Meteorologist Heather Zehr tells KDKA Radio the rain is expected to arrive early Thursday around midnight and will continue through the day.
"I do think that the heaviest rainfall may still be around for the evening hours," said Zehr.
We could even see some severe weather.
"In that stretch we could have a thunderstorm as well," Zehr added.
So if you plan to go trick-or-treating on Thursday, take some rain gear.
Despite the rain temperatures will remain in the mid-60s on Halloween but then a big change.
Zehr says you'll notice strong winds Friday morning with a high around 47.
