After Big Investment In Employees, Sheetz Looking To Hire

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Sheetz convienence stores recently announced a $16.8 million investment in its employees, raising wages and offering benefits to store workers.

On Tuesday Sheetz announced they will be holding an open hiring event in Pittsburgh next week.


A press release says that jobs will be filled on the spot.

The event is next Wednesday, October 16 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Pleasant Hills Sheets location at 251 Curry Hollow Road.

Employees will receive benefits such as:

  • Medical, dental, vision, prescriptions and disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Employee stock ownership
