PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) In their daily Coronavirus update, the Allegheny County Health Department listed an additional 14 cases, passing 2,000 within the county.

The total number of cases in Allegheny County have reached 2,003.

There has been no growth in the number of past or present hospitalizations or deaths, both remain at 350 and 168 respectively.

While the county has not released numbers regarding a recovery rate, the state of Pennsylvania is reporting that 70% of cases have recovered.

Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.
