PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Another day, another alligator in Pittsburgh.
A two-foot alligator was found early Friday morning outside of the Shaler Giant Eagle along Route 8.
Shaler Police turned the gator over to animal control. Officials ask that if you own the gator to please contact them at 412-492-2222.

July 19, 2019 Paul McIntyre with Big Daddy Wildlife Removal tells KDKA Radio he has named the gator "John Shumway" in honor of his recent appearance on KDKA Radio with Larry and John.
It’s the fourth alligator discovered in Pittsburgh in the past few months.
The first one was found at the South Side Riverfront Park on May 18, the second in Beechview on June 6 and one in Carrick on June 8.
