PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh area Congress members are divided as the nation on the house’s impeachment inquiry. KDKA Radio’s Joe DeStio report.
Democratic Congressman Mike Doyle out of the 18th District says the president tried to get a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent.
“It’s a clear violation of campaign law,” said Doyle.
Republican house member Guy Reschenthaler out of the 14th District calls it all a waste of time.
“The likelihood of Donald Trump being removed if he were to be impeached is . . . about zero,” said Guy Reschenthaler.
Democrat Representative out of the 17th District, Conor Lamb, is more neutral.
In a statement Lamb said, “There’s nothing partisan about following the law and protecting our national security. Congress must continue our work to get the truth.”
