PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Bill Cowher, former head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be inducted in to the Steelers Hall of Honor, 2019 Class on September 29.
He joined KDKA Radio on Tuesday morning to explain what it felt like when Art Rooney told him the news.
“A tremendous honor to be put in there with all of those other tremendous names,” Cowher said.
A Crafton native, Cowher spent 15 years as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and helped lead the Steelers to their 5th Super Bowl Championship at Super Bowl XL.
