PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto says it will be some times before officials know what caused a sink hole to collapse, taking a Port Authority Bus with it Monday.
The mayor says the work of determining what went wrong is just beginning.
“There is extensive damage to the site,” said Peduto. “It is going to take several weeks to repair it.”
Peduto says there is no cost estimate yet on that work.
Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald says it shows the importance of getting some funding for infrastructure out of Washington.
