A tragedy of sorts struck the Lexington Police Department when a Kirspy Kreme doughnut truck was destroyed in a fire.
Fire crews were able to successfully extinguish the flames and no one was hurt in the incident, but much to the horror of the officers on the scene, the doughnuts could not be saved.
The cops took these silly photos on the scene and posted them on Twitter with the caption, “No words” followed by a crying emoji.

The tongue-in-cheek post went viral catching the attention of other police departments who offered words of encouragement.
Krispy Kreme reached out to the officers saying, “We’re thinking of you during this difficult time...and have more doughnuts on the way!”
We certainly hope that the sweet treat from Krispy Kreme can offer some comfort to the officers affected by the incident.
