HARRISBURG Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There are 1,366 additional cases of coronavirus in Pennsylvania Monday to bring the state's total to 24,199 in all 67 counties.

Along with the new cases, there have been 17 new deaths, four more than Sunday, bringing the state's death total to 524.


The total number of negative tests has risen to 105,593.

Of the patients who have tested positive to date the age breakdown is as follows:

  • Less than 1% are aged 0-4;
  • Nearly 1% are aged 5-12;
  • 1% are aged 13-18;
  • 6% are aged 19-24; 
  • Nearly 41% are aged 25-49; 
  • Nearly 29% are aged 50-64;
  • Nearly 21% are aged 65 or older.

Most of the hospitalizations and deaths are in those 65 and older.

Pennsylvania is one of seven states in the country with more than 20,000 confirmed cases.
