PITTSBURGH, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has announced the COVID-19 update for Saturday, May 9.
There are now 1,486 positive cases in the county.
The number of cases jumped up by 31 from Friday's number of 1,455.
There have been 273 hospitalizations in the past and present.
There have now been 120 confirmed or probable deaths related to coronavirus.
There was one new death caused by COVID-19 from Friday, May 8's toll of 119.
The 25-46 age group is still the most affected demographic with nearly 500 of the cases being within that bracket.
The ACHD has an online map that can be used to follow the positive cases and their locations across the county.
