A spokesperson for Smokey Bones parent company tells KDKA Radio:
As of yesterday [April 28, 2026], all Smokey Bones locations have ceased operations. On behalf of Management, it has been a privilege to serve the Pittsburgh community. The three remaining Smokey Bones locations in the Pittsburgh region have all closed.
On Tuesday, locations in Tarentum (at Pittsburgh Mills), Cranberry Twp. (Route 228) and Greensburg (Power Line Drive) were all closed.
According to multiple posts on social media, the locations closed abruptly and employees were given very little, if any notice.
Back in January, the Robinson Township Smokey Bones location closed down.
