PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A portion of Bethel Church Road in Bethel Park will be closing until sometime close to the end of the year.
The westbound lane between Alton Drive and Walther Lane will close at 9am on Tuesday, September 8 so crews can build a rock embankment, extend a stormwater pipe and to replace pavement and guide rail.
Eastbound traffic will still be able to use the road. Alternate roads for Westbound traffic include Logan Road, South Park Road and Drake Road. Trucks over 10 tons will need to use detour using Fort Couch Road, Washington Road and McMurray Road.
The project is expected to cost just over $195,000 and should be wrapped up sometime in December 2020.
