
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Want to be a movie star?
Well we don’t’ know about that but you can stand in for a new movie being filmed in Pittsburgh!
Extras, stand-ins and featured roles are needed for “Happiest Season” starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis.
The Tristar/Sony Pictures feature will film in the Pittsburgh area from mid-January through late-February.
All walks of life are wanted including kids, teens, adults and senior citizens of all ethnicities.
The casting agency says that the extra will portray “Pittsburgh pedestrians & city folk, holiday tourist, party guests, coffee shop patrons, ice skater, restaurant patrons, college frat boys, country club attendees, shoppers”, and more.
Movie Casting PGH says that “hundreds will be employed over the course of filming.”
“Happiest Season” is about Stewart’s character “Abby” who wants to propose to her girlfriend “Harper”, played by Davis at her family’s holiday party but a wrench is thrown into the proposal after Abby learns that Harper has yet to come out to her parents.
