Feral Cat Tests Positive For Rabies In Frazier

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A feral cat captured in Frazier Township has tested positive for rabies. It was caught near the 2300 block of Dellenbaugh Road.

 County health officials remind residents to stay away from wild and stray animals and keep pets up-to-date on vaccinations.

This is the fifth rabid animal reported in Allegheny County this year: three raccoons, one bat and now one cat.

Always notify animal control or your local police if animals are acting strange or become threatening.
