BUTLER, Pa (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Butler Health System has confirmed the first death caused by Coronavirus in Butler County.
The announcement was posted to the BHS website on Wednesday.
No information on the patinet was given; they were confirmed dead at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
As of 12:00 p.m. today, Butler County had 12 confirmed cases.
This is the 12 confirmed death in the state of Pennsylvania from the COVID-19 outbreak.
The number of confirmed cases in the state has gone up daily and is currently at 1,127.
