An alligator was on the loose in Beechview Thursday night. Luckily no one was hurt and police along with animal control were able to capture it.

It’s the second gator captured in the Pittsburgh area in the past month.
Obviously gators are not native to our area, and experts say they wouldn’t survive the winters here.
Local print shop Commonwealth Press is have a little fun with the latest gator sighting with their new “Beechview Alleygators” t-shirt.
"We got no beach, we got no view, but we got GATORS. and we can prove it with this shirt."
Owner Dan Rugh says he’ll be printing the shirts Friday evening at their Mt. Lebanon location.
