PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — IKEA is recalling 7,000 baby bibs over a choking hazard.
The red and blue MATVRÅ bibs were sold in pairs. IKEA says the snaps can detach, posing a choking hazard to infants.
They were sold exclusively at IKEA stores nationwide and online from August through September 2019 for about $2.
The blue bib has a green seam along the outside with white polka dots. The red bib has a yellow seam along the outside with red polka dots.
The firm received two reports of the snaps on the bibs detaching. Neither incident occurred in the United States and injuries have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the bibs immediately and return them for a full return. For more information, call 888-966-4532 or visit the IKEA website.
