"Returned to us today," the library began the post's caption, "August 4th, 2020: 'The Man Who Saved Robinson Crusoe' by James Poling. Original due date: August 4th, 1977. Right day, just off a few decades! 😆"

Luckily, the man didn't face exorbitant fees upon return.

"A great opportunity to remember that Monroeville Library is fine free," the post's caption continued. "Return any overdue materials you may have in our book drops, which are conveniently open 24/7. No need to be nervous! 😊"
