PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Magician Lee Terbosic will be performing in his new show, IN PLAIN SLEIGHT, March 20th - May 12 at the Liberty Magic Theater.

He joined KDKA Radio on Tuesday to preview the show and share with listeners how he became interested in magic.

“I was a ten year old kid when I discovered it. I became obsessed. My parents took me to the Carnegie Library in Homestead, and I spent a lot of time there, checking out books and reading,” Terbosic said.

“Early on I was always hanging out at the Magic shop in the Southside, the Cuckoo’s Nest if you remember that place. That’s what really did it for me, that early on experience of performing and learning and then it just snowballed.”

A Baldwin native, Terbosic grew up performing in his high school cafeteria and in restaurants, hoping to one day make the big stage.

Terbosic eventually accomplished that; he was recently featured on the Discovery Science Channel as the co-star of Houdini’s Last Secrets, a docuseries that explains the history and life of Harry Houdini. Now, he is hosting his own magic show in the city that he grew up in.

The show will include card tricks, mind tricks and illusions that will leave the audience speechless. For tickets, click here.
