PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A suspect charged with robbing a 79-year-old female outside of South Hills Village Mall is in custody.
Police say 32-year-old Mitchell Duffley of Bethel Park approached a woman in the parking lot of the mall last Thursday and asked for changed.
When the woman pulled out her wallet to give him money, Duffley reportedly grabbed the wallet from her hands and ran off.
After an investigation and information from witnesses, Duffley was identified and taken into custody on Friday.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail and is charged with robbery.
