Man Surrenders After SWAT Situation In Lawrenceville

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A man surrendered after a short SWAT situation Sunday night in Lawrenceville.

Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 100 block of 41st Street around 9 p.m.

A woman got out of the home safely but the man refused to come out.

SWAT was called to the scene and the unidentified man walked out about an hour later.

He's facing charges including strangulation and assault.
