JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - "Make Racism Wrong Again" that is a phrase on the shirt and hat of Johnstown resident Jamal Lewis that is getting a lot of attention online.

Lewis tells KDKA Radio's Lynne Hayes Freeland he saw someone wearing the gear online and decided he was going to order it for himself and then go to Walmart wearing the clothing.

"I just want to try to do the right thing and show people that we have to stick up for one another and that racism is wrong and I just wanted to say it loud and proud so I said what better place to go rockin' my stuff other than Walmart," said Lewis.

Lewis says that he "got a lot of looks, some dirty, couple of smiles."

He adds no one said anything to him but he did get "an evil eye or two."

Lewis, who is originally from the Philadelphia area, says that the racism in Western Pennsylvania is more "in your face."

Lewis, who also has a red and white version says he plans on wearing his "Make Racism Wrong Again" gear when he returns to Walmart on Tuesday and will continue to wear the apparel in public.
