PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto is voicing his support for New Zealand and the local Muslim community after a mass shooting at two separate mosques in Christchurch, NZ has left at least 49 people dead.
Peduto told Christchurch mayor Lianna Dalziel on Twitter, “Mayor @LianneDalziel – the people of Pittsburgh are with you and our brothers & sisters in Christchurch. Wishing you peace on this horrendous day.”

March 15, 2019 Eleven people were killed and six were wounded during a shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh last October.
