PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Some PA residents are going to start 2020 out $1 million richer.
The deadline to buy a ticket for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle is Saturday night, January 4 at 8:00 p.m.
Only 500,000 tickets will be sold.
“No matter how many we sell, we will draw winning tickets from those tickets. Unlike lotto games where it's you against probability - this is really you and a finite number of tickets,” said Drew Svitko, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Lottery, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Friday.
There are also plenty of opportunities to win.
“We’re going to have four $1 million prizes, four $100,000 prizes, and almost 5,900 hundred dollar prizes - so lots of winning tickets, lots of winning experiences,” Svitko explained.
“We know that we will be giving that money away tomorrow night.”
Just ask for the “Millionaire Raffle Ticket” at your neighborhood lottery retailer.
