More Cases Of Coronavirus Confirmed In Allegheny County

 PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Allegheny County.

The Allegheny County Health Department said Tuesday morning they have received confirmation of one new case of COVID-19 in county and three other presumptive positive cases.


That brings the total number of cases in the county to seven, including three presumptive cases.

Beaver Country reported their first case of COVID-19 Monday evening.

"Again, non-essential businesses in Allegheny County are being asked to close for at least 14 days to limit the spread of the virus through personal contact and surfaces. The goal with this recommendation is to further emphasize social distancing, the county said in a press release.
