PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A train derailed in Hempfield Township Friday afternoon involving 20 to 30 cars.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the collision occurred along Georges Station Road near the state park, around 3:30 p.m.
A mixed-freight train heading west struck the rear of a Norfolk Southern intermodal train.
There were no reports of injuries or hazardous materials involved, but hazmat crews were responding as a precaution.
