PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – CVS Health announced announced that they will begin drive-thru testing at select stores beginning on May 15th, including 9 testing locations in Pennsylvania, two of which will be in the Pittsburgh-area.
The local testing areas opening on Friday are located at:
- CVS Pharmacy, 4849 William Flynn Highway, Allison Park, PA 15101
- CVS Pharmacy, 611 Duncan Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15237
Patients wishing to be tested will register on CVS.com in advance to schedule an appointment. Patients will stay in their cars and will use the stores' drive-thru window to receive the self-swab test kit. Tests will be sent to a third-party lab for processing and results will be available in approximately three days.

"We look forward to working with CVS to implement our comprehensive testing strategy, which will serve as a critical aspect of Pennsylvania's phased reopening."
CVS will have close to 1,000 testing locations across the country open by the end of May.
