PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - United States Marshalls have arrested a Pittsburgh fugitive wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Memorial Day in Allegheny County.

32-year-old Jalaspain Charles of Pittsburgh was arrested on October 28, 2019, in Denver, Colorado. 


He was charged by Pittsburgh Police with Criminal Homicide, Possession of a Firearm, Aggravated Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Charles was a suspect wanted in connection with the Memorial Day shooting, which occurred on Chauncey Drive in the Hill District.  A 15-year-old was injured and 34-year-old Isaac Harrison was shot and killed at the scene. 

The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force learned information that Charles could have been in the area of  Denver, Colorado. They communicated with the U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force in Denver, who confirmed Charles was there. 

He was arrested without incident in 700 block of E. 20th Avenue.
