Multi-Month Narcotics Investigation Leads To Warrant, Arrests In Braddock

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Two men were arrested Friday night in Braddock after a multi-month narcotics investigation. 


According to a press release, Dontae Jackson and Melvin McCane were arrested at 233 1stStreet in Braddock. Jackson was charged with felony Possession with Intent to Deliver, felony Manufacturing, caring a firearm without a license, receiving stolen property, and endangering the welfare of a child. 

McCane was charged with felony Possession with Intent to Deliver.  

Narcotics detectives with the Allegheny County Police Department and the Allegheny County District Attorney's Narcotics Enforcement Team (D.A.N.E.T) obtained a search warrant for the residence and seized the following during the search: 

.45 caliber handgun (reported stolen out of Oakmont)45 caliber ammunition, bullet-proof ballistic vest10lbs. of marijuanaPackaging material for marijuana distribution$26,656.00 in cash1871 MDMA (ecstasy) tablets ½ ounce of MDMA powderTHC oilNumerous pre-rolled hashish cigars11 grams of THC waxNumerous THC vape cartridgesOxycodone pills

Jackson and McCane were transported to the Allegheny County Jail to await preliminary arraignments.
