HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – The Pennsylvania Capitol building will reopen to the public on June 22nd as Dauphin County moves into the green phase on June 19th.
The reopening will happen with COVID-19 prevention protocols that include wearing a mask and adhering to social distancing protocols. Anyone without a mask will be provided one before entry.
The Main Capitol, East Wing, and North Office Building entrances will be accessible to the public.
All scheduled events through the Office of Special Events are canceled through July 5th, and the department is working on rescheduling.
Beginning June 19th, the Office of Special Events will resume scheduling events for outdoor venues at the Capitol that will take place on or after July 6th.
