PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The former priest of St. Therese of Lisiex Parish in Munhall was convicted of one felony and five misdemeanors on Friday for molesting a 10-year-old boy in 2001.
According to an affidavit, 88-year-old Rev. Hugh Lang has been convicted of one count of unlawful contact with a minor, three counts of indecent assault, 1 count of indecent exposure, and 1 count of corruption of minors.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the now-30-year-old accuser testified that the priest sexually assaulted him in the church’s basement in 2001.
Sentencing will be held on February 6, 2020.
