PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Sixty-one workers will soon be without jobs when a polishing and finishing product company in Emsworth closes at the end of the month.
The Post-Gazette reports that Schaffner Manufacturing Co. notified the state Department of Labor & Industry that they will close on February 28.
The company was acquired by a Wisconsin based company back in April 2019.
147 employees at a call center in Coraopolis called IBEX will also lose their jobs when the company closes by March 31.
