HARRISBURG, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced a 533 increase in positive coronavirus cases on Saturday.
The statewide total is now 2,751 and has affected people in 56 counties.
All affected individuals are either in isolation or the hospital.
There have been 25,254 negative cases to date.
There are also 12 new deaths related to COVID-19, and the total is now 34.
Of Pennsylvania's cases, the 25-49 age group has been hit the hardest with 39% of positive cases.
A majority of the hospitalized cases have been in that 25-49 demographic, but most of the deaths happened in patients that aged 65 or older.
