HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - We now know why 80 residents died at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver County during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.
A state Department of Health reports says inspectors found staff without masks, failed to use social distancing and improperly disinfected items.
The report also says Brighton failed to maintain infection prevention and control, places the residents in immediate jeopardy.
Brighton was the hardest hit long-term care home in PA during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
