PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh-area pet owners can get some help feeding their furry friends today.
The Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team will give out bags of pet food from 11a.m. to 2p.m. today at the Allegheny County Airport.
His team is unable to transport animals safely at this time,"So we pivoted. We changed from transporting animals to using the resources and industry connections that we have to purchase bags of food," said PAART Co-founder Brad Childs, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Friday.
One bag per vehicle will be permitted. The organization will also be accepting cash donations.
