PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A large number of children around Pittsburgh are rejoicing following the first snow day of the winter.
A little over three inches of snow fell at Pittsburgh International with four inches in places like McMurray.
It’s the first day kids can really go outside and build a snow man or go sledding.
But children aren’t the only ones having fun out there.
Pittsburgh K9 Officer Junior is also taking advantage of the snow day.
In a video posted to Pittsburgh Police’s K-9 Unit Facebook page, Junior can be seen running around and playing in the snow.
