PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Public Schools have canceled this weekend’s commence viewing events set to take place at PPG Paints Arena due to planned protests in the city.
The district is making the move at the request of law enforcement.
The drive-in style events were scheduled to take place outside of the arena.
A virtual commencement will still air on the district’s website and on PCTV in the City of Pittsburgh.
