PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Pittsburgh's Citiparks starts the Summer Food Program Monday.
It offers free food to anyone under the age of 18, or residents with intellectual disabilities up to 21-years-old.
Breakfasts, lunches and snacks will be served at dozens of locations on weekdays through August 23rd.
The Summer Food Service Program served 142,000 meals last year. The service is funded by the US Department of Agriculture through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
